Billy Wagner is having arm troubles again.  The closer is heading for an MRI on his throwing arm on Tuesday, and even the most optimistic projections would have him missing some time.  Wagner has told the Mets team site that he won’t risk further injury by pitching through pain after having a scare a few weeks ago.  All bad news for the Mets.

He was New York Mets SP Oliver Perez, who, after a miserable follow-up campaign to his breakout '04 season, had fantasy baseball managers guaranteeing that they would never draft him again. The four teams with the best records in baseball all play in the American League (Red Sox, Yankees, Angels, and Indians). This has led many to dismiss the quality of play in the Senior Circuit, but as evidenced by the World Series a year ago, that would be a big mistake. While there was no dominant team in the National League this year, through the first two games of the playoffs there was clearly one dominant division: the NL West.
