There were some pretty surprising performances last week. Antwaan Randle El, Vincent Jackson and D.J. Hackett far exceeded expectations while usual studs like Plaxico Burress and Clinton Portis laid a freakin egg.

Watching the New England-Dallas game on tv last weekend, I re-learned why I hate the Patriots. They don't have any class. When you're up by 14 with 20 seconds left, there's no need to go for the touchdown. There's no need to still have Brady & Co. out on the field. There were a few critical mistakes made by Dallas that might have given them the opportunity to win this game with the word ‘might' being the key.
